AlDub at Peak of their Stardom and on their Intense Chemistry On and Offscreen

Today, every Filipino is familiar with the name of popular television actor, host and model Alden Richards and dub smash queen Maine Mendoza because this pair personality has become the latest craze in the entertainment industry in the Philippines.

Both of them joined the popular noontime show Eat Bulaga in 2015, where they played the role of two lovers who used to express their romance via a split-screen instead meeting in the flesh.

However, they might have faced obstacles in meeting with each other in “Kalyeserye”, but the latest rumor is that they have become a pair in the backstage too.

You cannot just ignore the fire this pairing generates and with their magic, the popularity of the 36-year-old show has touched the mountain peak. In the beginning, the show featuring Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza earned more than 32% rating and witnessed a 300% increase in viewership. The show has drawn a record-breaking 8.6 million viewers every day.

The craze of “AIDub” is not only confined within Philippines. In fact, the pairing has created a new global social media records with more than 41 million tweets in one day.

Though Maine Mendoza recently said in an interview that both of them are single as of now, but she also hinted that door for falling in any relationship is open for them.

Millions of viewers in the Philippines are crazy about the pair and want to see them as the kindhearted lovers forever. In a survey, many viewers suggested that their offscreen chemistry (REAL-MaiChard) is more popular than their on-screen (REEL-AlDub).

However, there is no doubt that both of them are professional and have been acting in the show according to their scripts, but no one has denied the potential of an offscreen love affair between them. The curiosity of the drama they generate on the show is real, thus increasing their popularity big time.
