A Rewarding Experience-The ADN FAN LETTER WRITING CONTEST

ENGLISH TRANSCRIPT------To Richard and Nicomaine, I have to tell you, but the problem is, I do not know how to start it. Perhaps let's starts of with the question of, who are you? What AlDub has done to my life? And how did you enter my world? Some things should have priority, but I couldn't ignore Tweeting and checking social media often. I always want to be updated where you are, what you do and who you are with. Are you together? Waaaaahh, I am getting crazy and fidgeted when I know that you're together and imagining I am with you together. Back then, I find some of the fans too overacting. How come they go crazy over their idols. But when this came to me, I realized that what they feel are real because like those fans, you become my inspiration, and even today I am told I am crazy. An introvert like me learns to become so open to social media. With your millions of followers, I still hope to be one of those lucky that you notice and hoping to have a groupie pic of us three. But it isn't much important, as long as both of you are happy, I'm happy too. We do not hold your minds and hearts; we're just your fans who hope that you'd be together forever for real. No pressure there! But your road to FOREVER will mean heaven for me and not only for me but the whole ALDUBNATION for sure! Laughs.

Back then, the 16th, Thursdays, May 2, June 3 and July 16 were ordinary days for me. But when you came, those days become significant. I always wait for those days to come. You are such an influencer!

Today is February 14, but the feeling I felt last Dec. 18 is still fresh. Still quite remember what happened on that day? Well, it's your mall show together in Davao. Feeling that you're just a bus ride away to see you, but I couldn't because I do not have money for the fare. A friend wanted to lend me the fare money but still I couldn't because I have a student job that time, and I can not take an off because my scholarship is at stake. Feeling like I wanted to run off to the other city to catch a glimpse of you but I couldn't get off my seat because I realized I couldn't do anything. :-((That pain hit hard on me. Seems so near, yet so far was what I felt! It's true! And to encourage and cheer myself up, I said to myself "Study hard Angela. with that, you can find a cool job, and then, you can earn enough money, and then you can find an easy access to be near Maine and Richard" Until now, that I still keep that thought in mind. My family is my inspiration too and they are also the reason I'm trying. But I feel more rewarded that I came to know you, AlDub | maiden | MaiChard. I'm scared. Because I have made decisions and missed opportunities just to support you. I choose you over them. But it does not mean that you are a bad influence on me. You were both God's gifts to us, and I promised, I will be successful, and will never regret that I chose you.

With those simple humor and thrills, it means a lot to me. So brother and sister Meng and Richard, I will close this letter by saying *THANK YOU SO MUCH REALLY!* It is my very first time to make an open letter I never thought I would be this expressive, and thus, it is because of you. Don't change, for what and who you are now. I take pride admiring you to my family, my classmates and my friends. I hope you do not dwell on the bashers. Those people just want to pull you down. But those bashers encourage us to lift our spirits for you. Keep holding on us because we will never let you go, AlDub you. With heart emoticon and *pabebe* waves. Entry #1 @MyBebeAngela Angela, first of all, I wish you all the very best in life so that you get a great job that not only earns you enough money but great satisfaction. At a young age, you are very mature and know how to take criticism in your stride and use it to become a better person. Like many of us fans, I am touched that Maine and Alden have been able to inspire you too. I hope you stop regretting any decisions you made, the opportunities you've missed, even the reason is not Alden and Meng, knowing to decide for yourself means knowing how to live your life. ENGLISH TRANSRIPT -----------Alden and Maine, Like you two, we never knew that you will come to our life. We were not oriented. In fact, we fell in love with both of you quickly. That kind of love that won't let you sleep at night. The reason that gives us a nice morning. That uneasy feeling when I can't see both of you. I cannot control my thrills, and I would scream all over, or curse for excitement. We could always sing your theme song God Gave Me You. That. That is how we love you, Alden and Maine. I do not know, both of you make us all happy, excited, loved, overwhelmed and sad all at the same time.

Alden and Maine, you make us all want to be the best version of ourselves. Remarkably, there are people who were discovered because of their talents as well as developed further because of you. And those who have lost hope in life and become in love again rallied inside to continue. Many people got merrier; children, even my Mom, grandparents, single people, in a relationship, broken hearted, as well as those who do not believe in forever convinced that there is one. And of course, fans from different countries who are able to get over the homesickness and get never tired of watching you on TV. You have a way to let them feel a home away from home though they are far away.

Many friendships were formed, partnerships, having the inspiration to do things that are not only good for themselves, but also for others. This won't be possible without you. There may be misunderstanding, but in the end, we are still united to support you.

To me, you are one of the reasons why I believe that God has perfect plans for me, in his perfect time. Both of you, you ignite the fire in my heart to believe strongly that there is something good coming for me. More beautiful, more meaningful, larger than the one I dream of and pray. Thank you, Alden and Maine.

But like any other people in love, we are with you together trying to pass the test of love. Tested by faith and unity, is there anything can stop ALDUBNATION? None. Your popularity may pass (maybe 100 years after) the love and support we provide you will not. Maybe a million tweets are not enough to thank you how much we're overflowed with joy only because of loving you.

You already have a special place in our hearts, only for you. Wink . We hope you stay the same no matter what. Humble and God-fearing. And I hope you would become real couples! Joke . No matter how we would have liked that to materialize, we are happy with your status now as long as you are both true to each other and your feelings. We 're always be here supporting you .... Buzz. Entry #3 @nicknick0322 Angelica, Meng and Alden inspire millions, but it's people like you who really inspires them. I felt your pure heart and how you love Alden and Meng unconditionally. Entry #4 @MENGANDTISOY Dear Mafers, I didn't know that you're a girl. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and it really touched my heart and probably those who have read it. You got the most number of RTs and Likes in the online votes. Congratulations on topping it all! In this hard world, it is not easy to please anyone. So, you are not at all a complicated person. Rather, you are very emotional, and that is why Alden and Maine have been able to touch your heart and “broke the wall to your close minded self.” Those who have read your letter are very happy that Alden and Meng's magic has been a life changing experience for you. ALDUB has not become phenomenal because of lame reasons. ____________________________

(ENGLISH TRANSRIPT)MY OPEN LETTER FOR MAINE ALDEN @aldenrichards02 and @mainedcm, First of all, I want to greet you, Good Afternoon.

I thank you because you have been my inspiration Not only in my studies but also in the day-to-day. @Aldenrichards02, my big brother, when I first got to watch you on Starstruck, I saw your perseverance. And there I was astonished that I decided, I will follow you. Even if you do not pass on Starstruck, it didn't stop me to admire you. At first, I was disappointed when I learned you didn't pass. But I said that "One day, my brother Alden will rise to fame." And I think, I'm one of your fans who continue to support you and feels euphoric about it. I didn't realize that the joy I feel will be mixed with sadness. I am sad because having admired you for a long time, I haven't even met you still. Until now, I have high hopes that someday I will meet you soon. Just a simple fan sign will make me so happy. Every lunch money I have for school, I make an effort to save a small amount to buy myself your magazines, posters, pictures and many more.

Maine, my big sister. When you started in EatBulaga, I have watched you. You were so great in dub smashing. Since that day, you immediately became my IDOL.

Because I've seen all your dub smashing on Youtube, and Brother Alden's dub smashing too on YOUTUBE, I thought you two will be a great pair.

And without realizing that thought, that it become a reality. And when I saw both of you on Juan for All, All for Juan, on July 16, I was stuck on the TV. I felt the real thrills, fun, and amazement. Sometimes, when I watched other fans who we're cheering on both of you in the studio and able to meet you in the flesh, I couldn't help to be jealous.

Even the strong want to see both of you personally; I don't have the means. I don't have money.

My family isn't rich and unlike other fans that can afford everything and do everything for their idols. But my one wish is to see both of you in person on my birthday.

My birthday is on July 2. Although I still, I still hope it would it would happen. I hope I could find a way.

Now, this contest came in. I thought this could be another way to make my wish come true. I will feel very lucky if I win. I will not stop dreaming that one day, I'm going to meet you soon.

I do not believe that we, your fans, were given to you by God. For me, the two of YOU are God given to us.

Because without you, we never have IDOLS, who are a great INSPIRATION and well-admired. You are the STARS that brings smiles on our faces.

Like other fans, you are my inspiration in my study. I like to hold the most favorite picture I only have of both of you together during exams.

My classmates often tell me that there's no way I can even concentrate on my reviews while holding your picture. But I did not listen.

I am still holding your picture while studying. Because through your picture, I can study well.

But a sad episode was I lost it. I got so depressed. But I did not stop searching for it. And thank God, I found it.

That moment when I lost your picture, I wasn't so motivated the way when I am able to hold and look at your picture. I wasn't able to study well. Because looking at your picture also means seeing you in the flesh.

By now, I was able to buy more posters , magazines pictures given by my friends.

The mind and heart can always be a paradox within us, yet yours is a huge heart who have believed Alden.
